'Et qui serait assez fou pour en acheter un?'
That title means something like 'And who would be so mad to buy one?'
I just put together some leftovers, very intuitive, mostly because of the colors.
Postcard 7 x 5, 5 inches / 18, 5 bij 14 cm
Didn't know Elmer Fudd spoke French...lovely postcard, Jo, those twins are spectacularly creepy and I think the poor person on the bench knows the darkness of their little souls!!
Beautiful, and funny, and I understand the French! Since I'm in a teaching mood, Jo, I'll correct your English, which is nerely perfect: "Who would be so mad as to buy one?" I hope you don't mind. =sourire=

ReplyDeleteNeither did I Lynn ;))
DeleteThe twins are from Diane Arbus, I just love her photography!

ReplyDeleteUh, 'need to correct my own English: that should be "nearly perfect."
DeleteAh, merci bien Fiona ;)) I don't mind at all, it has been a long time since my high school French (and it is such a beautiful language).
ReplyDeleteGood that you followed your intuition! It´s really a very good postcard, J.!
ReplyDeleteThank you Sabine... postcards are really good for leftovers ;))
