Sad & Happy
An homage to Peter Blake. Woman cut from a vintage magazine demonstrating a product to eliminate "bad hair" days. Rubber baby doll head from another women's magazine circa 1950s. Same for the hand holding the swell Motorola radio. Note: I like to swipe those color charts you get for free at paint stores and that is what the lady is pasted down on. The other solid colors are from a nifty pack of what is known as "Color-aid System of Colored Paper" which is available at art supply stores.

Excellent! Blake is a favourite of mine. The one I'm working on is a homage to him too!

ReplyDeleteThanks Lynn. Every element within the 4 boxes was already cut out waiting to be used for something. This collage came together very quickly.
