Theme of the Week: Share

Share ... a beautiful thought, your favorite colors, a collagist you think we've never heard of, your ode to Leonard Cohen or Leon Russell....

I want to share a thought: wouldn't it be nice to do a future month (say next summer) of collaboration with your kollage kit colleagues?
Let me know what you think.

  1. I like a nice broad theme - sharing being an integral part of this blog of course! As for collagists that one might not of heard of there's a few - Jess Collins HERE is one example I would put forward. I was only aware of his Tricky Cad comic "paste ups" from the 60's but the lovely Angelica Paez sent us a nice book of his work which I really love. His website shows all the other areas he liked to work in too.

  2. I've always wondered how you all managed to do a collaboration. How do we partner up? We exchange mailing addresses via email? Sounds interesting!

    1. Yes we could exchange addresses via email for those who are interested.
We could make starters for each one interested and leave it to the other to finish, or we could do exquisite corpses with 3 persons or...
lot's of possibilities to think about.

  3. Great theme again, Josephine! I like the idea of sharing inspirations - this feeds the artists!

  4. I'm shy about collaboration, but dipping my toes in the water in my "Shadow" piece with Tim Lukeman was really satisfying. Now if I can just talk Tim into posting here with us...

    1. But you know, we already are collaborating, by creating a body of work each week using the same theme...

    2. You're right Fi, we are already collaborating every week, I just thought it to be a nice idea for a future theme.
