burnt norton

Handwritten text is a long poem by T. S. Eliot, titled "Burnt Norton"—the first poem in his Four Quartets. I cut out the orange shapes.

Here's the whole of the Four Quartets, if you want to read some of it. I'm kind of an ambassador for that big chunk of Eliot. =laugh=

This collage has a problem: it's 8 1/2" x 11", but it didn't quite fit on the lame scanner I have right now.

  1. I must say I have never read T.S. Eliot and I did go to the Four Quartets and was charmed but it is an epic that must be read when I have no distractions (which there are right now in my house) so...

Thanks for the link, Fi. I actually found a website that has audio of T.S. reading THIS! Here is that link:

  2. Nice work Fi, I like the Matisse-like shapes.
