/ˈHəʊmkʌmɪŋ/

Well, okay, 'Homecoming' really, but the phonetic spelling looked more mysterious and alien!

  1. Thiis is stunning, Steve: the light! I don't know how you do it. Your work has a seamless quality to it that I really admire.

    1. Thank you Fi!
I think the light is due to a lucky find of the walkway piece having a pool of light on it, which matched the area of the lightshade/portal bit...
And then drawing a fine line around the cut edges with my son's white Posca pen to hide my less-than-precise cutting out skills! :)

    1. :) yes, seems like there may be extraterrestrial activity going on! Maybe the figure is really an alien lifeform, here in disguise, at the point of returning!

  3. Nice mid-century modern interior. (We used to have a white paper lantern like that in the Chicago office of The Hong Kong Trade Development Council, where I worked for several years in the 1970s.) Interesting image overall!

    1. Well spotted, timewise!
The interior is from an old '70s book about homemaking...

And HKTDC sounds like a cool place to work, I remember looking at old Hong Kong trade catalogues of toys and suchlike, that my Mum used to get sent in the '70s... wish I'd kept some, they would've made excellent collage material!
