I can't resist posting another one of my experiments with (in Matisse's phrase) "drawing with scissors." I made this one in November of last year. For those of you who know the work of Robert Walser: the bit in the upper lefthand corner is from the tiny pencil writings in his journals.
Oh, and my husband Bob gets credit for the title.
I like the term "drawing with scissors"! I do not know Robert Walser, but will look him up.
ReplyDeleteCutting things out with scissors always feels very tactile to me - tracing the lines around things - wibbly or wobbly - it's all very exciting!
