Piglet and Pooh, and the P.O.B.S. too!
Hmm - a "guilt-free" bacon sandwich? I'm not quite sure about that!
And neither are Piglet and Pooh, nor the Piggy Pig Erasers looking at the two pals as they read those terrible words...
YIKES! I don't believe a word of that! I must admit to eating a very healthy, red meat free diet. But I do love a good pork chop a couple of times a year and always thank the piggy who sacrificed his life. Bacon, however, is fried and I avoid fried at all costs. NOT GOOD FOR YOU or YOUR WORKOUT!
Thank you Angie! Yes, back in the day, when I still ate meat, I really used to enjoy pork chops too, and bacon! But yes, as well as the frying, bacon is also heavily processed, making it a total health no-go. I do wonder who funded that research that's mentioned in the text - the Bacon Marketing Board, perhaps? :) I do think they may have been telling porkies! ('Porky', short for 'Pork pie' = lie, in Cockney rhyming slang!)

ReplyDeleteBTW cute and informative collage, Steve, even though I don't believe it. ;-D
