  1. Rather creepy and weird - and that's just the fashions!

    1. Yes it's an odd look isn't it - makes me wonder whether the models are extremely tall, or whether they're standing on hidden pedestals!

  2. Cool artwork Steve. Looks like the Daleks have got hold of a sewing machine.

    1. Thanks Ron - it does doesn't it! The woman in purple also reminds me of Offred/June in the Handmaid's Tale.

  3. Wow—the colors! I'm just barely getting a grasp of your style, Steve, and I really really really like it!

I, too, when I can pull it off, favor "simple" (not many separate pieces, or at least appearing not to be many) design with 3-D and lots of color. But I'm not sure that's valid, because no one is a good judge of their own work.

    1. I just noticed the writing at the bottom... interesting! Do you know who the designer is?

    2. Thank you Fi! I think I'm only just getting a grasp of it too! I'm not even sure that I have a style, yet, but, like you say, I'm probably not the best one to judge, it's early days yet although I've been doing cut-and-paste collages on and off over the years.
The designer is Pierpaolo Piccioli, designing this collection for Moncler, apparently... the shopkeeper in our cornershop saw me looking at this magazine and said I could take it, because it was going to get pulped anyway, so I did - lots of great collage pics, and even an article on a collagist, Lucy Williams!

  4. They have to be standing on pedestals (or stilts)! Lovely work, I have been looking at this all week and just now getting around to posting a comment. I enjoyed reading your comments with Fi.
