Channelling.

I'll just leave this here, without saying whether I think this is a science or a pseudoscience.
I know what I think though, and if you know what I think too, then how, exactly, do you know....? :)

  2. Science of parapsychology. But who is the lady in the frame? The medium?
    Nice one!

    1. Thank you Sabine, and yes, the framed lady is the medium... when I made the collage, I intended that the Victorian children at the top of the collage were the spirits, and the audience at the bottom were attending a seance...

But really it could be the opposite too... with the Victorian children attending a seance, while their medium tries to get in touch with spirits from the future (ie the people in the lower half.

This apparently did happen quite a lot around the end of the 19th century, with some mediums claimig to be able to make contact with future spirit beings!

  3. I like this collage, Steve. I'm definitely a believer in the "after-life" and more than once have tried to contact the dearly departed.

    1. Yes, I believe there's more happening than we will ever know, in the paranormal/supernatural worlds.

  5. This is great fun! I love all the different black-&-whites: they are a kind of texture. And I'm impressed at how you combined the individual spectators into a whole audience—amazing, all the perspectives there!

  6. Thank you Fi, yes it's funny how many different kinds of black-and-whites there really are! I suppose this is mostly grimy yellow b/w, and a crisper grey black... as for the audience, there are only two bits to it really, (or three if you count the tiny cowboy and his son), they just happened to go together really well and make more of a crowd!
