All it needs is the word "Merz" somewhere on it to resemble an artwork by Kurt Scwitters! I hope you will know, Ron, what a high compliment that is. The composition is exquisite. Who is the fascinating man (a clown?) in the signed photo at upper left? I'm curious...
Thanks Sabine & Fi. Too kind. Great theme BTW and fun to create. I might try a few more of these and I'll check out the Abstract Comics book. The chap in the upper left is a 1930s British music hall performer called Edgar Sawyer. He appeared on the BBC in the early days of radio.

ReplyDeleteLovely stuff - I can see a few other "comic" characters too - Bob Hope, Rigsby and Terry Thomas to name but a few!
ReplyDeleteLove this Ron and I agree with Fi, it is very DADA.
ReplyDeleteSimply fabulous, Mono, and kudos to the colors and the slant of the yellow and black background against the squared-off images.
ReplyDeleteHey Ron...perfection in every way! From the background to the fab array of images and numerals and the currency and the flattened cassette tape box.
