One from the archives. I had to have a re-excision of a suspicious mole on my ankle and have been spending a lot of time elevating that leg. So...here is an oldie (back when I was rubber stamping and pasting on vintage book covers.) Also a time when I was adding butterfly wings to figures...a tip of the hat to Somerset Studio which I used to subscribe to!
What a beautiful guardian angel for travelers, Angie! I like the wings out of butterfly.
ReplyDeleteAnd get well soon!
Indeed a travel angel ;))
ReplyDeleteHope everything turns out okay for you and your ankle!
Can't go wrong with butterfly wings...now I want some garments with maps all over them! Get better, CC.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sabine and Josephine and Lynn! When I was a girl I remember a favorite shirt that was made from a cotton map and sailboats print. I wore that thing out! When my foot gets better I'm heading to the wonderful VOGUE FABRICS in Evanston, IL to see what I can find. Maybe I will sew a doll (which I have not done in ages!) wearing a garment made out of map fabric!

DeleteOh boy, now I want a yard of each and every one of these! Sewing and fabric stashing is as addictive as collaging and paper stashing!!
Which I can imagine! Nice fabric Angie ;))
DeleteLovely collage...and I'm sending you healing vibrations...,you sure have been vexed by that spot on your ankle! My sympathies...
ReplyDeleteThanks Fi. By the way this time it is the OTHER ankle. : ( The spot you are referring to was taken care of a couple of years ago! Wear sunscreen on your feet ladies and gentlemen!!
