Hang This On Your Fuse Box

  1. Good heavens—what a fascinating construction! At first when I looked at it I thought it was the Torah, you know like in a synagogue. Terrific piece!

  2. I had to find out what "fuse box" means - and than I was wondering which kind of electricity must come out of this one?! Fun idea!

  3. Incidentally, the horizontal marks next to vertical columns add to the impression that this is Ogham.... or asemic Ogham.

  4. This is certainly inventive, Michael!

  5. Goodness, I love when I learn something new on this blog. Ogham: an early Medieval alphabet used to write the early Irish language and later the old Irish language. I even found an OGHAM TRANSLATOR online that you can type anything into and see how it would look!

  6. Thanks for all your kind words - really, I don't deserve it for something that was made very quickly and offhand! Not heard of the OGHAM Translator either - you do learn something everyday on the web! The title comes from a packet of wire hat Hazel found - it had printed on it HANG THIS ON YOUR FUSE BOX which we thought was funny at the time. Now refers to most things that we don't know what to do with!
