"Dada dribble drabble droum drown" ... nothing distracts a dadaist when writing a masterpiece poem of sound ... not even his mother!

I watched a great documentary on dada the other night, I hope this link is working

Viva Dada | ARTE Creative

it's in German but there is so much to be seen and hey it's dada so it's international!

  1. Ahhh...Max Ernst would be pleased! I like your putting someone writing at the center of the piece, because I admire the writing that went into the early Dada events as much as the art and shenanigans....

    1. Thank you Fi for always giving me these new words like 'shenanigans' ... I had to translate it but it's a beautiful new word for my dictionary of foreign language in my brain;))
Me too I love the DaDa writings, all of the Merz pictures of Kurt Schwitters, and Paul van Ostaijen with his almost 'dancing' poems.

  3. I just can echo Fi and Angie: I love that you made a collage to the theme "sound poems" and Max Ernst would love your collage, too. And I especially love the link to the German arte documentary - I will definitely watch that!
