I use to do those kind of collages during my vacations - collecting all entries, pieces of paper, receipts ..... It´s always nice to go through those collections after years. And so it´s nice to see yours!
Nice to see these diaries from the '90s! And it shows the importance of ephemera from the times as well, ie the bus ticket, which triggered off loads of memories of the ticket machines that the conductors (when they still had them!) used to wear around their necks as they went up and down the bus! And Encona hot sauce too - used to enliven up many a dole-day meal of instant mash-potato - on it's own, on an ancient plate, in the early 90s!
Thanks Steve. Yes , the ephemera of the past looks vastly more interesting than the stuff we see today but in years to come that will trigger memories of it's own age I guess.
