Louis XV (or his lover, Madmae de Pompadour) is supposed to have said "Après moi, le déluge."/"After me, the deluge." I just flipped it around to mean "after the deluge [of scraps], this."
Love it, so anciently medieval, and molecular at the same time... and the red skeleton leaf over the horse's head reminds me of stories about Stubbs studying their anatomy.. eee!
Okay, I translated it and I see it means after the deluge, but who is Ceci? Never mind, nice visual, rich with intriguing pieces from your scrap box.
