Boffo, Steve! The blues really work, as do the guy's facial expression and the silly mirror-image image dolls of the "special collection." I don't know why, but my eyes are drawn to those electrical wires & their box—just the sort of oddball touch that, in my mind, makes for a great collage.
Thank you Fi - Yes it's funny about those wires and box - that bit was an offcut from the right-hand side of the photo under the frame, which I added at the last minute on a whim!
Thanks Michael, I think I must've looked rather relieved actually - I'd run out of Elmer's, so was having to use Prittstick for the first time in ages! :)
Hi Angie, sorry only just seen your message now - yes I've been using Elmer's wrinkle-free rubber cement... I started off using Pritt, and am now back on it... I've never heard of Elmer's sticks before, will have to check those out!
I would say you nailed this collage perfectly. Especially love that cute little creature (and his reflection) in the gilded, repainted, built-in wall display case!

DeleteHi Steve, I have a question...do you use ELMER'S GLUE? I use Elmer's Glue Sticks. And UHU Glue Sticks as well.
